It looks like Eva Mendes and her heartthrob boyfriend Ryan Reynolds didn't celebrate Mother's Day in a typical fashion, despite Mendes recently giving birth to an adorable baby girl. Meanwhile, Ryan has been hitting the gym ever since he returned from filming a movie in Atlanta.
Just because Eva Mendes recently gave birth her first child doesn't mean that she had a lavish first Mother's Day.
In fact, judging from Eva's recent comments about the big day, she may not have celebrated being a mom at all.
In a recent interview with entertainment show Access Hollywood, Eva Mendes says she hasn't earned the right to celebrate Mother's Day. Instead, Eva says she will be paying respect to her own mother:
"There is no plan [to celebrate my first Mother's Day]. I kind of feel like I haven't quite earned my stripes yet in a way. She's seven months old...This Mother's Day is definitely all about my mom...She's had a really hard year. My brother's sick, so it's all about my mom, honoring her. We're all going to go over to her house and bombard her with love."
Of course, that's not the only reason that Ryan Gosling and Eva Mendes find themselves in the news this week.
Ryan generated a lot of buzz, when the A-list heartthrob was recently photographed back in California. The actor was spotted hitting the gym, and Just Jared tells readers that Ryan looks great:
"Ryan Gosling keeps the sun out of his eyes with his favorite baseball cap while leaving the gym on Saturday morning (May 9) in Santa Monica, Calif...The 34-year-old actor just returned back into town after spending time in New Orleans filming his upcoming movie The Big Short."
