Born July 18, 1982, Priyanka Chopra had the distinction in 2000 to not only win Miss India but Miss World as well. According to the website Celebtonic, Priyanka:
- Is 5'7" and weighs 117 pounds.
- Her body measurements are 34-24-34 with a bra size of 34D (How that is germane to anything I don't know)
- Not only is she an actress, but also is a model and a singer/songwriter.
- Her parents are Ashok and Madhu. Both are doctors in the Indian army. She also has a brother named Siddharth
As for her career, Chopra made her debut in the 2002 Tamil film Thamizhan. Her first Bollywood film was a year later. She appeared opposite Sunny Deol and Preity Zinta in the film The Hero. Her next few films, all in 2004 (Plam, Kismat, Asambhav) died quick deaths at the box office, which continued on into the next year where Blackmail, Karam, Yakeen and Barsaat all did next to nothing.
In 2006, Chopra starred in two of the most successful films of the year, Krrish and Don. In 2007, releases Salaam-e-Ish and Big Brother went back the other way.
Chopra would break out in the film What's Your Raashee?, where she sported 12 different looks, representing each of the zodiac signs.
Priyanka Chopra continues to build on an impressive resume, while working extremely hard year in and year out. Say what you want about Bollywood, but they put their noses to the grindstone and work.
