If there is one thing that Taylor Swift proved with her new "Bad Blood" video, she's definitely got enough friends to get her over a breakup with Calvin Harris if things should soon go south. According to the latest gossip news updates, the 1989 singer's many besties are calling for her to split with her new boyfriend, before the Scottish DJ breaks her heart. Some folks have even suggested that Harris' past is so littered with questionable hookups that he could wind up damaging her All-American reputation even if he doesn't break her heart by cheating.
While the reports that Calvin Harris was caught cheating might have been grossly exaggerated, several of Taylor Swift's friends supposedly still think that her relationship with the EDM musician is bound to lead her to a broken heart if not worse.
Once friend of Taylor's that seemed to have plenty of questions about Harris' motivations points on in the June 8, issue of Life & Style that just being associated with a guy like Calvin isn't good for a girl like Taylor:
"He used to date a bunch of club girls, who were nothing like Taylor.
"If they ever came forward, it would hurt Taylor's brand...the more serious it gets with Calvin the more damage it could do to Taylor."
Ever worse claims the informer -- Calvin seems to be trying to parlay Swift's unparalleled fame into a bit of attention for himself as well:
"He's also doing a bunch of appearances and interviews that he wouldn't have if he hadn't met Taylor.
"It makes everyone think that he's using her for fame."
For all her friends concern, it is doubtful that Taylor takes her relationship that seriously given her easy going nature.
When Access Hollywood set Taylor up for a perfect opportunity to talk about how difficult her life was, she explained that she doesn't really see her pop star duties to be a soul crushing chore or even unpleasant:
"Sometimes I really don't think it's that hard at all...I'm telling you now, it's really not."
"It's not that bad...[it's] made out to be harder than it is."
According to Taylor, the only difficult part of going on tour is having to say goodbye to her true soulmates, Meredith Grey and Olivia Benson, every time she leaves the U.S.:
"I do have to leave the cats behind, when I leave the country...which is the hardest part."
Let's hope that in time Calvin Harris proves himself to be just as loyal as Swift feline housemates.
