It turns out that it's not just her soon to be ex-wife, Michelle Rounds, currently dragging former View co-host Rosie O'Donnell's good name through the mud. According to the latest gossip news updates, The League of Their Own actress had arranged to adopt a second baby from the birth mother of her daughter, Dakota, long before Rounds was thinking of getting a divorce but backed out of the deal after learning that the child might be born with physical impediments. In a related story, current View stars Whoopi Goldberg and Micole Wallace both put TLC's Duggar family on blast for hypocritically insisting that their son, Josh, would be forgiven by God for his sex crimes, while claiming all along on their show, 19 Kids and Counting, that anyone that didn't have the exact same sexual orientation as they did wouldn't be invited into heaven.
As though Rosie O'Donnell really needs someone else talking smack about her, Jami Weaver, who is the birth mother of her daughter with Michelle Rounds, Dakota, claims that the former View host specifically asked her to have another child for the couple (via Daily Mail):
"When I was walking around the hospital, trying to induce labor with Dakota, Rosie asked me not to go through with having my tubes tied, which I'd planned to do.
"They said they wanted me to have another child for them in the future."
The problem came when, after they already had things all lined up, Jami found out that the baby had gastroschisis, a deformity wherein part or the bowel comes through the abdominal wall, and quickly got Rosie on the phone for a pregnancy update:
"Rosie said that she'd had a previous relationship with a girlfriend who had several kids, most of whom had 'issues' including autism...[and] she could not handle having a special needs child.
"Rosie and Michelle weren't the warm people I thought they were.
"I just felt like I was a dog breeding puppies for Rosie."
Speaking of human puppy mills, Rosie's former colleagues at The View, Whoopi Goldberg and Nicole Wallace, are slamming Jim Bob and Michelle Duggar's attempts to cast their son, Josh, as being completely forgiven by god after making a name for themselves by condemning any and everyone that doesn't act like they're living in the 15th century to an eternity in the fiery pits of hell (via HuffingtonPost):
"You brought God up...[but] you're not forgiving of people.
'You're not forgiving of people who feel differently than you.
"Don't bring up God...and talk about God forgiving people when you don't have forgiveness in their own hearts."
Nicole Wallace seconded Goldberg's statements -- reminding folks that the19 Kids and Counting couple have gone out of their way to condemn all sorts of lifestyles and people over the years that they know very little to nothing about:
"When you say God will forgive my son who molested my daughters, if that's your world view, if that's how you got through it, OK.
"But you can't say God can't forgive a transgender person."
Hey, perhaps, Rosie could just adopt one of the Duggar families' spare kids since they have more than they can seem to keep an eye on anyways.
