K-Pop riddle -- If a member of EXO goes missing, would anyone even notice? Would the band notice? At present, EXO has nine members. Those nine gathered to appear on Yoo Hee Yeol's Sketchbook. The band discussed how they are handling the loss of various members and how they handled concert performances when various members were not available. As well, a new rumor has sprung up that Luhan and Kris may rejoin the band if SM Entertainment, who they are under contract to, drops their suit.
During the interview, the group revealed that numerous variations of each number were prepared. Member Lay manages a busy schedule not only in South Korea but China as well. He has had to miss some performances as a result. As well, the losses of Kris and Luhan, as well as the expected departure of Tao, has robbed the group of some very talented performers, though Tao's departure has yet to be officially confirmed. Yet, they keep on, selling out concerts and albums. While on the show, the band shared how they prepared for a performance and performed of their next hit single "Growl."
Meanwhile, rumors are going around that SM Entertainment, as reported by IB Times, would drop their lawsuit against Luhan and Kris if the two rejoin the band. Both Luhan and Kris are in a particularly precarious position in that if the court does order a trial, a halt would be put to their performing and any other entertainment related activities for quite some time. It is appearing more and more likely that both will rejoin the group. It certainly isn't an ideal situation for Kris and Luhan, but it, at this moment, seems to be the least of all evils.
Neither side have said anything publicly as it is an ongoing legal matter. Watch this space to find out what happens.
