Ranbir Kapoor will play a superhero in Ayan Mukerji's newest, as of yet, unnamed film. And while Ranbir may looked dazed and confused, he's not. How else can you explain why Deepika Padukone's still in love with him? It has been revealed in Mukerj's film that Ranbir will have a superpower. He's career suicidal.
Or, so dad Rishi Kapoor says. Dad, Rishi, himself an actor of some note, believes his son will survive this patch. He even believes Ranbirman will come out stronger.See, he actually is a superhero.

Well, dad Rishi Kapoor was quite angry back then, but this time around he seems to be more chilled out about the digs Arjun Kapoor and Ranveer Singh took at his son at IIFA. 'It's alright, yaar. It is okay to run down anyone for a few laughs in this industry," said Rishi.
Thanks, dad. Rishi is in agreement with everybody that his son has been lousy at choosing films of recent, and apparently being made fun of at the IIFA Film awards show is just the thing that Ranbir needs. Nothing like fashion-inept Ranveer to make you wake the hell up and get your ass in gear.
It's almost akin to Salman Khan sitting you down and lecturing you about morality. But let's let HindustanTimes weigh in:
"Poking fun at Ranbir's latest flop Bombay Velvet, Ranveer and Arjun had said that Ranbir should have been named Roti in the film because his co-star, Anushka was called Rosie, and that "they could have been called Rosie-Roti because both of them took the Rosie-Roti away from Anurag Kashyap's (director) pocket." The duo also joked that Ranbir's film, Roy, directed by Vikramjit Singh, should have been called Destroy instead."
