It looks like all still may not be well on the set of ABC's The View. According to the latest gossip news updates, Rosie O'Donnell's leaving may have helped Whoopi Goldberg get through the day, but it has done little for Nicolle Wallace, who supposedly clashes with new cast member Raven-Symone at every turn. Word has it that the conservative TV show co-host can't stand the Cosby Show vet's ultra-liberal mindset, but Whoopi has supposedly already taken Raven under her wing. In a related story, Goldberg has also interjected in Nicki Minaj's recent feud with Taylor Swift -- pointing out that Beyoncé is a far from a skinny white girl but still seems to win plenty or awards and acclaim.
It looks like if The View cast isn't cursed to have constant contention among its co-hosts, it's at least always going to be plagued by rumors of behind-the-scenes backbiting.
One source in the July 27, issue of InTouch Weekly, claims that from day one to this day, Nicole Wallace has taken issue with Raven-Symone's joining the panel:
"The View hasn't been able to find the right mix of co-hosts.
"Nicole and Raven] clashed form the very start. They just flat-out don't get each other.
"It's gotten so bad that they only speak to each other on air."
According to the source, it's just a matter of time before Whoopi has Nicole go the way of Rosie O'Donnell, being that she seems so close with Symone:
"Unfortunately for Nicolle, Raven is the one that appeals to the show's key demographic...And she has co-host Whoopi Goldberg on her side.
"Nicolle's days may be numbered."
Despite Whoopi's apparent failure to defuse any tension that may exist between Raven and Nicole, the 59-year-old comedienne found herself wading into the current social media feud between Taylor Swift and Nicki Minaj.
