It seems pretty hard to believe given how quickly things were said to deteriorate between Joe and his ex-wife Tina following their divorce, Jessica Simpson's dad is supposedly going to be at her mom's wedding. According to the latest gossip news updates, the supposedly gay manager will actually be officiating the ceremony, despite the improbability. Word has it that Daisy Duke made her pregnant sister, Ashlee mad, by first planning an elaborate vacation that she couldn't go on in her condition, only to later insult all the hard work she put into designing the baby's new nursery, but Tina is trying to teach the girls that it's always easier to just forgive.
Although it seems absolutely so farfetched that it has to be taken with a grain of salt if at all, Joe Simpson is reportedly all set to marry his former wife, Tina, off to their longtime family friend, Jon Goldstein.
One source in the latest August 6, issue of OK! Magazine claims that Tina was pretty weary at first but in the end realized that it was best to just move forward without any hard feelings:
"Tina said yeas because she's ready to forgive...[to] bury the hatchet.
"The split was nasty, [but] this is an olive branch."
While their parents could presumably teach a masters' course in maturity, Jessica and Ashlee Simpson are said to be squabbling over the pettiest issues at the moment.
According to the family friend that Life & Style spoke to, things were going fine until Jessica broke the news that she was taking everyone to St. Barts to celebrate her 35th birthday -- except for Ashlee, of course, who was far too pregnant to travel:
"Ashlee could give birth any day now.
"She's very upset that Jessica would plan this big trip with their mom right now, during her time of need."
That slight was nothing compared to what came later, however, explains the informant.
The sisters supposedly have little to say to each other after Ashlee invited Jessica over to her house to tell her how much she liked her new nursery, only to have the Dukes of Hazzard actress talk smack about all her hard work:
"She wanted her opinion, but she didn't think Jessica would tear all her choices apart.
"Jessica criticized everything from the furniture to the baby clothes. Ashlee had decorated the nursery herself and she was very proud, and Jessica really hurt her feelings."
