Tonight, ABC Family’s groundbreaking series, The Fosters, is all new. The show stars The Disney Channel’s own, Maia Mitchell, who plays opposite Ross Lynch in Teen Beach Movie 2. Recently the pair opened up about an unscripted kiss that they shared during filming.
The official plot synopsis for tonight’s all new episode of The Fosters, titled “Daughters,”reads:
“Callie views Rita differently after meeting Rita's daughter, who has an uneasy bond with her mom. Elsewhere, Stef uncovers a new lead in the hit-and-run accident; and Brandon talks to his mothers about the tension he's sensing in their home.”

Maia Mitchell can also be seen in the Disney Channel hit original movie Teen Beach Movie 2, alongside Austin & Ally star Ross Lynch. While filming the movie Lynch and Mitchell were spotted kissing, prompting people to assume that they were dating.
However, as it turns out the kiss was an unscripted moment between the two of actors for the film, as Ross Lynch explained to Hollywood Life,:
“Maia and I did a kiss spontaneously.We thought that Mac and Brady should have an onscreen kiss. It wasn’t scripted and the director didn’t tell us to do it and we just did it and hopefully it makes it in the movie!”
Maia, however, is blaming Ross for the kiss as seen in the video below.
