When the trailer for the National Lampoon's Vacation reboot, simply titled Vacation, was released one thing really stood out. That is right. We are talking Chris Hemsworth’s... manhood. The Thor actor can be seen striped down to his underwear with his mighty hammer in full view. Now, Hemsworth is opening up about filming the revealing scene. Star Christina Applegate is also speaking out about Hemsworth’s shirtless scene.
Vacation is out in theaters and one of the scenes drawing in big laughs and some dropped jaws, is Chris Hemsworth’s nearly nude appearance. Recently, Christina Applegate spoke to People about her reaction to the scene:
"It didn't make me laugh because we were just in awe of his abs. It got quiet on the set there for awhile."
Applegate couldn’t help but ask Hemsworth how he maintains his chiseled appearance, adding:
"He said 'I don't really do anything, I just surf,' and I'm like 'that is not from surfing guy. You don't want to give us your secrets? That is not okay.' "
Hemsworth himself recently talked E! News about the filming the scene:
"It was embarrassing. It was hilarious and probably more for other people than me…I was intimidated by that set and scene."
Vacation is currently in theaters.
