Stephen Amell is busy man. The father of one is gearing up for the Season 4 premiere of his hit CW DC Comics series Arrow, and getting ready to step into the ring at WWE’s upcoming SummerSlam PPV event. Amell can also be seen in 2016’s Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles 2. Amell plays the vigilante Casey Jones. who in most incarnations play April O'Neil’s (Megan Fox) boyfriend and ally to the Turtles. Now, Amell is opening up about Jones’ new origin.
Recently, Stephen Amell opened up press and fans about Casey Jones’ new origin story in Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles, as IGN reports:
"He is not the Casey Jones that a lot of comic fans have come to know and love. He is a guy with a job that lives in New York and loves hockey. When things go awry, [and] when he goes through the normal methods of what someone would do when they're [a] law-abiding citizen and he's met with laughter and scorn... he decides to take things into his own hands."
Amell also offered some of his Casey Jones skills to Arrow executive producer Wendy Mericle adding:
"By the way, if Oliver needs to do any new fighting this year, I would suggest a baseball bat or a hockey stick, because I am now proficient!"
