It would seem that the Hollywood gossip mill is once again ratcheting up the rumors that Ellen DeGeneres is having problems in her marriage to Scandal star, Portia de Rossi. According to the latest gossip news updates, Portia has finally had enough of Ellen's overbearing attitude. Word has it that after de Rossi virtually refused to take care of her wife if she went through with her plastic surgery plans, the daytime TV talk show host moved out of their home. It's said that Ellen and Portia's friends are convinced, now more the ever, that the power couple will be announcing their plans to divorce in the near future.
Despite the fact that just weeks ago all the supermarket tabloids seems to be reporting the happy news that Ellen DeGeneres and Portia de Rossi were getting along so well that they were planning to renew their vows in a televised wedding, it's now being said that the Hollywood hot couple are on the very precipice of divorce.
One source in the latest August 24, issue of Life & Style claims that the wedding plans were really the first sign that Ellen's hold on Portia was tentative at best:
"Ellen thought it would revive the relationship, but Portia is so pissed off that she canceled everything.
"There is so much tension between them...Their marriage is hanging on by a thread."
Another insider that spoke to In Touch reveals that things really went south when Ellen broke the news that she planned on using their summer vacation to get recuperate from a little plastic surgery:
"Instead of taking time to work things out, Ellen said she wanted to use her time off to get eyelid surgery.
"The last ting Portia wanted to do is sit home and take of her while she is recovering...So Ellen left.
"Everyone is worried that they're headed for a divorce. Hopefully Ellen will come to her sense."
