Spoiler Alert: Gotham Season 2 is almost here. We have been going crazier than an Arkham inmate waiting for the hit Batman prequel series to return. Now, we the villains are finally breaking out and taking over the season. One of the most anticipated villains returning to the show is Cameron Monaghan’s (Shameless) Jerome. Last year’s breakout star, Penguin actor,Robin Lord Taylor (Walking Dead), is opening up about the the potential Joker.
The official plot synopsis for this week's all new episode of Gotham, titled, “Rise of the Villains: Damned If You Do…,” reads:
“Season 2 opens with Penguin being asked for help from an unlikely source: Gordon, whose moral compass is out of whack following a shakeup in the police department. In other events, Bruce explores secrets from his father's office; and two newcomers are befriended by inmates from Arkham.”
Recently, Robin Lord Taylor opened up about The Joker’s role in Season 2, telling reporters (via Tech Insider):
“Definitely what you’re going to see with Jerome, who’s played by Cameron Monaghan, the Joker. I think everyone is going to be thrilled, including myself to see how that progresses.
Gotham Season 2 premieres Monday night at 8:00 p.m. eastern on Fox.
