The latest issue of Empire gives us the best look at the Suicide Squad's Jared Leto as The Joker. He is in a getup that may intrigue you, for it is not what you would expect.
The newest images show The Joker in an outfit fit for a meth addict. Coming to us courtesy of Moviepilot, the cover looks great. Sporting Arkham Asylum labeled pants, bare feet, a walking cane, and a purple alligator jacket, Jared Leto's Joker looks to be a slight bit off his rocker. He is once again showing off his trademarked tattoos in true gangster fashion. We still don't quite have a grasp on this version of the Joker, except for the fact that he is completely mad.
Does this mean that his jacket is made from Killer Croc's hide? Who knows. One thing we do know, is that I am sure this jacket will not go unnoticed by Killer Croc. His appearance is edgy, which is one thing that has been promised of this version of the Joker. Whether you love this version, or hate him, the Suicide Squad will make waves when it hits theaters on August 5, 2016.
Inside we get a handful of images that feature Jared Leto as The Joker and Margot Robbie as Harley Quinn, via IGN. We see Harley before and after her Joker infatuation. The images look great, and just further highlight the focus of the film on The Joker. It is strange, because for a character that is said to only have a small part in the film, The Joker looks to be in every piece of marketing that comes down the pipe. I am starting to believe he is in the film more than they are willing to say.
