Guardians of the Galaxy 2 Spoilers: Bradley Cooper Leaks Major Plot Twist to MTV?

Has Bradley Cooper just spoiled a major plot point for Guardians of the Galaxy 2 to MTV? During an interview promoting his new film Burn, Cooper said some things that could interpreted to make you think that very thing.

Bradley Copper has apparently made a huge mistake. Out doing press for his new film, Burn, he has stumbled over his words a bit. To the naive observer, Cooper just spilled a little about the plot of the upcoming Marvel movie Guardians of the Galaxy 2. In the interview, Cooper talks about Josh Brolin, and says that he is 'whats-his-name's-dad'. The interviewer and Cooper are on two different wavelengths here.

Cooper is talking about the 'dark lord' as he calls him. The interviewer thinks that he is talking about Star Lord. If you know the first film, then you will realize quickly that Cooper is most definitely talking about Ronan. He refers to Thanos being the Dark Lord's father. This is an easy thing to misinterpret, being that Gamora and Nebula are most definitely children of Thanos. Ronan is not. The scene that Cooper is referencing is the one where Thanos is lecturing Ronan.

I wish that this was a huge leak, because we know that the sequel will be dealing more with Star Lord's father, but it unfortunately is not. Cooper stops for a second, and then restates that the scene he is talking about is from the first film. You can see the who interview clip below:

It saddens me to see Bradley Cooper stumble for a few second hoping that he let nothing leak out, and the girls around him being so sure that he just did. I will say it again for you though, THIS IS NOT A SPOILER FOR GUARDIANS OF THE GALAXY 2.

Immediately after this video went live, and the rumor started to run rampant, James Gunn responded on Twitter to the video and the rumor, saying that this is not a Guardians of the Galaxy 2 leak. He goes on to say that Cooper has not even had enough time to read the script for the sequel yet.

So, in conclusion, Thanos is not Star Lord's father, he is not even Ronan's father. I guess that is one of the downfalls of not watching your own movies. Not to worry James Gunn, we have your back as well.
