After just 5-months together, it appears that Gigi Hadid and Joe Jonas' love affair has sadly run its course. According to the latest gossip news updates, the Real Housewives of Beverly Hills supermodel's official story is that her holiday schedule was just too hectic to continue to try to work the former Jonas Brothers member into it. Word has it however, that the real reason Gigi and Joe split had more to do with Hadid's close relationship with Keeping Up with the Kardashians reality star Kendall Jenner than it did scheduling conflicts.
Depending on who you're talking to, Gigi Hadid and Joe Jonas either called things off because they were too busy to continue dating, Gigi just wanted to be alone for the holidays or Joe could no longer stomach his girlfriend spending all her free time with Kendall Jenner.
The secret insider that Us Weekly spoke to chalked Gigi's dropping Joe to her inability to work the JoBro into hectic modeling schedule:
"It was just due to busy schedules.
"They are just going to be friends for now, but it wasn't [due to] anything serious."
Someone claiming to have a little more insight into the split explained to Hollywood Life , however, that Gigi really dropped Joe because she wanted to see what it felt like to be alone for the holidays:
"She really wants to be single and live life.
"She wants to enjoy the holidays and live the single life because she hasn't felt how that is in a long time and she knows that it will be very exciting.
"She is still friendly with him. They talk, but they aren't going to get back together."
It hardly makes sense that anyone would rather be single for Thanksgiving and Christmas is they were otherwise happy in their relationship, but perhaps, Joe couldn't stand the idea of spending family time with the Kardashians.
One source in the latest November 23, issue of OK! Magazine insists that things came apart when they did, because Jonas finally tired of having Kendall Jenner follow him around like an unwanted third wheel:
"The clashed over her close relationship with Kendall Jenner.
"Joe felt like Gigi was more into Kendall than him...[and she] grew tired of Joe's insecurities and neediness."
