While it seems Calvin Harris and Taylor Swift's relationship has weathered the recent media storm brought on by Calvin's trip to a massage parlor, word has it the 1989 beauty has no shortage of Hollywood A-listers looking to date her, should things not work out with her current boyfriend. According to the latest gossip news updates, Swift's ex-boyfriend, Jake Gyllenhaal, wants very much to rekindle their relationship and has been secretly communicating with the "Shake It Off" singer for months.
Although Taylor Swift and Calvin Harris have been dating for quite some time, it's said that the 31-year-old Scot has yet to meet most of his girlfriend's family.
One source in the latest November 23, issue of OK! Magazine claims that Taylor is taking Calvin home for the holidays to finally get the once over from those closest to her:
"Her dad, Scott, and brother, Austin, are super-protective and want to get to know him better...[to] make sure he's right for her."
If Calvin doesn't live up to Scott and Austin's expectations, words has it that Jake Gyllenhaal is more than ready to try to make things work with Taylor all over again.
A secret insider supposedly told Star magazine that Jake and Taylor have actually been texting each other since the summer (via Life&Style):
"In June, Jake ran into [her pal] Cara Delevingne at The Graham Norton Show and asked for Taylor's new number...He said he owed Taylor an apology for how things ended between them.
"They've kept in touch, albeit secretly, ever since."
Regardless of how things ultimately work out for Taylor and Calvin, at least Swift no longer has to worry about paying Jesse Braham one dime of the $42 million he claimed he was old for Taylor's supposedly stealing his lyrics.
In a hilarious ruling, the judge threw out Graham's claims that Swift stole 92 percent of the lyrics for "Shake It Off" from his song, "Haters Gonna Hate" (via USA Today):
"As currently drafted, the complaint has a blank space -- one that requires Braham to do more than write his name.
"And, upon consideration of the Court's explanation in Part II, Braham may discover that mere pleading BandAids will not fix the bullet holes in his case.
"At least for the moment, Defendants have shaken off this lawsuit."
