ABC has just released a commercial for Star Wars The Force Awakens that gives us a whole lot of brand new footage from the film for your eyes to digest.
Just a mere week after J.J. Abrams came out and said that we would not get any new footage from the film before its release, ABC airs a commercial that is almost entirely new footage. Can this week get any better? I submit that it cannot!
There is no denying Star Wars The Force Awakens is the most anticipated film of the year. Most of us can already say that we have secured our tickets for the opening weekend. I can say that twice. Although we have gotten a lot of footage from the film, I still feel that we are missing some pretty key parts to the plot. There are so many question marks for fans, and this is the one thing that J.J. Abrams does well.
Ok, don't throw me to the sarlacc just yet. I think that when he did Star Trek Into Darkness there was some huge leak mistakes, and a few misinformation that seemed a little over the top. It is apparent that he has learned his lesson. These mistakes are not being made with Star Wars 7.

Getting back to the new footage, there is a lot of great things going on here. We get a great shot of Finn having a showdown against a stormtrooper, did I mention he is wielding a lightsaber? We also see some new shots of Rey and BB-8, Han, C-3PO, the M. Falcon, Jakku, and many other familiar faces. Did I spot Admiral Ackbar in there too? He has bound to be at least a four star general by now.
