While Gigi Hadid never has much problem finding a boyfriend, the 20-year-old supermodel is said to be a bit more insecure when it comes to her career. According to the latest gossip news updates, Gigi has been feuding with her sister, Bella, ever since she decided to become a model as well. Gigi may be having problems with her family, but the Real Housewives of Beverly Hills star and former One Direction singer, Zayn Malik, are said to be growing closer by the minute. Although the pair may not officially be dating, Gigi was seen holding her new boyfriend's hand as they dined together in L.A. last week.
Although it would seem that having a sibling in the fashion industry would a nice gift given the cutthroat world of supermodeling, Gigi and Bella Hadid are said to be none too pleased with having to compete with each other for modeling gigs.
One source in the latest December 7, issue of Star magazine claims that neither Hadid sister is willing to hang back and let her other take the big jobs, without first putting up a fight:
"The sisters obviously have jealousy problems. They've been fighting over who gets the bigger campaigns and jobs in the industry.
"Gigi has made it clear to Bella that she is following in her footsteps [,but] Bella thinks her look is more high-fashion that Gigi's, and that she deserves more fashion gigs."
Whatever happens between her and Bella, at least, Gigi will have Zayn Malik to help her through it.
Despite their not having officially acknowledge their relationship in the media, the insider that Us Weekly spoke to confirmed that things are moving fast between Joe Jonas' ex and the former One Direction bad boy:
"They seem equally super into each other, texting each other all the time.
"They've only been hanging out a couple weeks."
No matter how well things might be going to Gigi and her new beau, Ali Simpson recently told Fairfax that she won't rest until she gets Hadid and her brother, Cody, back together (via DailyMail):
"I am trying [to get them back together]. I know he still loves Gigi.
"They just honestly adore each other...they are each other's best friends. I think that when they see each other, it's really comfortable."
