Hunger Games actress, Jennifer Lawrence, made a guest appearance on The Late Show with Stephen Colbert to promote her latest movie, Joy. During the interview, Colbert asks the young actress about the illness she experienced during the production of the movie. In her response Lawrence unthinkingly insults Lindsay Lohan and, after the show, gets busted by the older model's mother in a statement to Entertainment Tonight.
During the interview, when Colbert asks about her illness, Lawrence explains that she had a stomach virus during the production of Joy and, much to the dismay of her movie kissing partner, started throwing up on set. The actress explains further, "I'm a big time puker... I don't stop working because I am a show pony. I don't have a choice. So I just keep going until my body is like, 'If we don't make her barf or pass out, she won't stop.' I get like, Lindsay Lohan-grade exhaustion, but without any drugs or alcohol. I'm always in bed early. I'm still tired."
Judging by the video clip, and her ever-friendly demeanor, the rambling X-Men actress probably didn't even consider the words coming out of her mouth and did not think of them as disrespectful or hurtful. That still did not stop Dina Lohan, Lindsay's mom, from commenting the following to Entertainment Tonight: "We love Jennifer Lawrence, we have always been fans of hers," she said. "It was all unfortunate that she used Lindsay as a reference of not showing up to set, and that whole bit. It was disappointing that she didn't have her peers' back. You shouldn't trash anyone, it was just surprising. My family sticks together."
Aliana Lohan, Lindsay's sister, was also not terribly pleased with Lawrence's off-hand jab. On Tuesday, she took to Twitter to say, "I never breathe life into negativity but I stand by my family. Disappointed in Jennifer Lawrence. You lost a fan."

As yet, Jennifer Lawrence has not responded to these comments by Lohan's family, but there will probably be some kind of follow up from her soon, possibly by way of an apology. Of course, she could be too embarrassed to respond after getting busted by Lohan's mom for saying some not so nice things about her daughter during an interview with Stephen Colbert.
