When Avril Lavigne announced that she was divorcing Chad Kroeger on Instagram it hardly came as a shock to the tabloids who had been predicting their split since their wedding. According to the latest gossip news updates, however, the Canadian popstars might finally be ready to fight for their marriage, now that it is essentially all but over. Word has it that while the hot couple have been meeting together here and there in recent weeks they have also been discussing where their relationship went wrong and what they can do to get it back on track.
Despite their making a big deal of their breaking up back in September, Avril Lavigne and Chad Kroeger have been spotted by People looking very much a couple on more than one occasion over the last few weeks:
"Avril Lavigne and Chad Kroeger continued to keep things amicable this weekend as they were spotted leaving a Los Angeles hotel together on Sunday, just months after their split."
One source in the latest January 4, issue of Star magazine claims that now that they have finally spentsome time away from their marriage, both Chad and Avril are rethinking this divorce:
"They needed a little break but they never lost touch.
"[Before] Avril didn't have time or energy to work on her marriage or worry about Chad's wandering eye.
"Since then, they've both owned up to their mistakes. It's a start.'
