2NE1's CL will finally have her official English debut come spring of 2016. While the Korean pop princess prepares for her Western premiere, CL has her hands full as she is rumored to be engaged in a musical collaboration for the track "Superdope" with one of the music industry's top songwriters and producers: will.i.am of Black Eyed Peas.
It was reported that CL was seen on a set filming a music video with the Black Eyed Peas front man will.i.am. Posts from CL's Instagram and an uploaded photo from one of the models cast in the video confirms that the collaboration is legitimate. The song the two are filming a video for is called "Superdope"
One of the models in the music video, known as Pagemasterr, uploaded a photo on her Instagram as proof of the filming. This according to Koreaboo.
The model said, "Since I can't post any pictures of today on set, here is the after picture of me with wig hair from workin on the new hit song 'Superdope' by will.i.am + CL music video today"
Although the orginal post on Instagram was deleted, the only existing photo is a screen capture on Koreaboo. CL also uploaded two separate photos on her Instagram but failed to specify any indication of the location or where the photos were taken.
While there is no confirmation yet about the release tweets between CL and will.i.am have put fans are on the edge of their seats anticipating the release of the project. Other are speculating that the music collaboration is for the 20th anniversary of the Black Eyed Peas alum project.
Fans are sure to expect a lot of thrills from CL for more of her projects come 2016.
