According to Brooklyn Nets' interim coach Tony Brown, "You've got to reach deep down and see how bad you want it." By that measure, the Nets didn't badly want to beat the Hawks, with a crushing 114-86 loss. The Nets will need to find something to motivate them if they don't want their season to continue downhill, especially considering they have one win out of the last eight games.
The Toronto Raptors are heavily favored to win tonight's game, and for good reason. They're on a four game winning streak and on top the Atlantic Division. Patrick Patterson said "Winning all of these games, taking advantage of the opportunity which is playing at home, playing in front of our home crowd, in front of friends, and being in a common environment where everyone is comfortable." If the Raptors can capitalize on these things, they'll end up with several more wins under their belt and a much stronger chance to reach the playoffs.
