‘Will & Grace’ Sean Hayes’ ‘An Act of God Makes’ L.A. Debut After Jim Parsons' Broadway Run

Following the success Broadway run, David Javerbaum's transcription of An Act of God (God is credited as the writer) made its L.A. debut on Saturday, Jan 30. Stepping into the Jim Parsons (Big Bang Theory, Buddy the Elf) role of God is Tony nominee Sean Hayes (Will & Grace, Promises, Promises). Joining Hayes are David Josefsberg and James Gleason as the Archangels Michael and Gabriel respectively. The show first previewed on Broadway began previews on Broadway at on May 7, 2015, and officially opened on May 28 2015 at the famed Studio 54. The play is based off of David Javerbaum's 2011 book The Last Testament: A Memoir By God.

An Act of God starring Sean Haynes, being previews Saturday, Jan 30 2016 ahead of its official opening on Feb 10. The show is scheduled for a limited run of six weeks, ending on March 13, at the CTG/Ahmanson Theatre in Los Angeles.

The original production of An Act of God, starring Big Bang Theory star Jim Parsons as God, premiered on Broadway May 7, 2015 and ran till early August.
