The Cleveland Cavaliers confidence in their new coach revealed itself in their overtime win against the Pacers. According to LeBron James, "He wanted us to figure it out. He's been doing that. I know we've only had a little bit of practice time, but he puts us in situations where we have to think and we have to kind of be learning on the fly. And that doesn't just happen in games, but in game-type situations like this. It's part of us in the maturation process and growing up." And it worked, breaking a six year losing streak for the Cavs when playing in Indiana.
The Charlotte Hornet's Michael Kidd-Gilchrist is looking forward to finally seeing some action in tonight's game against the Cavs. After having to sit out for several months due to a shoulder injury, he'll finally be able to see some time on the court. In fact, he's expected to "draw the primary defensive assignment against four-time NBA MVP LeBron James" in tonight's game. Kidd-Gilchrist said "I'm excited. LeBron is a great player, and I'm ready for the challenge." It should be interesting to see how well he perfoms against LeBron.
