If you have ever been involved with theater before, odds are there have been moments where just want to get rid of the director. And who can really be bothered with all those pesky rehearsals. And sets can be great but at the end of the day, who really needs them? White Rabbit Red Rabbit gets rid off that hassle that normally comes with a production. The avant garde play by Nassim Soleimanpour just throws actors up on stage with a script and let's them at it. The experimental show is now heading to NYC for a run of Monday only shows. Working without a set, rehearsals or a director on the one night a week that most performers are free means we will get to see some pretty names including Nathan Lane, David Hyde Pierce, Whoopi Goldberg, Alan Cumming and more.

The show is presented by Maberry Theatricals in partnership with PEN International. PEN International is an organization that promotes literacy and freedom of expression.
You might be able to do this show sans-director but you still some producers. Devlin Elliott and Tom Kirdahy serve as Lead producers. Recently Elliott and Kirdahy released a statement to the press, announcing the production and the partnership with PEN International (via Playbill):

Nassim Soleimanpour’s White Rabbit Red Rabbit will make its Westside Theatre this Spring.
