Victoria Clark & Kelli O'Hara Perform ‘Dido and Aeneas’ After ‘A Light at The Plaza’ Reunion

It was recently announced the original cast of the hit Broadway musical A Light at The Plaza will reunite for a special one night only reunion benefit performance for the Lincoln Center. Now, it has been revealed that Kelli O’Hara and Victoria Clark will also been reuniting for a brand new production of Dido and Aeneas. The Opera written by Henry Purcell (music) and Nahum Tate (libretto), will also star Anna Christy and Elliot Madore. The production will also feature the world premiere of a companion piece by Michael John LaChiusa (The Wild Party *Broadway).

The Master Voices performing arts organization will include a semi-staged two night performance of Dido and Aeneas, April 28 and 29. The shows will take place at the New York City Center. Doug Varone serves as director and choreographer. Ted Sperling will conduct.

Ticket prices range from $30-$130 and can be purchased online at NYCityCenter.org, by calling CityTix at 212-581-1212, or at the box office at 131 W. 55th Street (btwn 6th and 7th).

The special one night benefit performance of The Light at the Plaza takes place on April 4 at the Vivian Beaumont Theater as a benefit for The Lincoln Center Theater. Tickets are limited and are priced between $90 and $150.
