‘DWTS’ Champ Alfonso Ribeiro Insists Scott Disick Unworthy
There is no way that Scott Disick will be joining Season 22 of Dancing with the Stars, if Alfonso Ribeiro has anything at all to say about it. According to the latest gossip news updates, the 2014 champ can't imagine ABC or anyone else much being interested in watching the Keeping Up with the Kardashians bad boy cut a rug. In related Dancing news, former pro and judge Julianne Hough is said to be taking the year off, just as Len Goodman is set to return.
It seems that former Dancing with the Stars champion, Alfonso Ribeiro, didn't have any problem telling TMZ exactly what he thought of Scott Disick and the whole Kardashian clan last Tuesday.
When asked for his opinion on the prospect of Lord Disick joining the show, the Fresh Prince alum remarked that Scott in no way has the star power to even be considered eligible for any cast, ever:
"I neither know of him of care about him enough to have an opinion.
"He's not a star! So it not Dancing with the...it's Dancing with the, what? Dancing with a Guy Whose Married to a Family of Stars, I Guess?
"I wouldn't say that [the Kardashians] have necessarily been good for ratings, on that show. They have been a part of a cast. To say that they were a part of making the ratings good for the show -- who knows?"
According to Us Weekly, Ribeiro need not worry because there is reportedly "no chance" Scott will be joining the show, because the powers that be at ABC "would never give him [the] $500,000" that Dissick's demanding.
Sadly, Disick isn't the only one that won't be appearing on Dancing with the Stars in 2016, as Juliann Hough recently broke the news that she too is going to be taking a pass on Season 22.
In a recent interview with People, Hough explained that while part of her very much wants to return to the judges' panel, she has far too much going on to bother with it this year:
"I will miss being on the panel for Season 22, but have a lot of exciting stuff coming that I look forward to sharing.
"The pro dancers, producers and crew at DWTS will always be my family."
What do you think about Scott Disick possibly joining Dancing with the Stars?
Is Alfonso Ribeiro right in insisting that Lord Disick isn't reality star enough to even make the running?
