Though Justin Bieber and Selena Gomez last split in 2014 after being on-and-off since 2011, they’ve stayed connected. On Saturday, March 19, the "What Do You Mean" hitmaker drove Jelena fans into a frenzy when he posted a throwback photo of him passionately kissing Gomez.
The photo shows a young Bieber and the "Same Old Love" singer locking lips in the water. He captioned the sweet photo, “Feels.” Just when you thought the moment couldn’t get any better, Gomez “liked” the pic!
The post comes just a couple of months after Gomez refused to talk about her famous ex in an interview with Rolling Stone. In fact, she made it clear that she'd rather talk about anything that concerns her as an individual and not drag Bieber's name in each of her interviews.
"Well, I am sorry, first of all. And honestly, what I would love to be printed is that I am so beyond done with talking about that, and him," she told the publication.
Although the 23-year-old singer is clearly tired of talking about her relationship with the "Sorry" crooner, Bieber isn't exactly on the same page as he enjoys talking about her during his interviews.
“I’m proud of the woman she is today,” Bieber told Billboard in a November cover story. “When you love someone that much, even if something comes between you, it’s a love that never really dies.”
Bieber never denied the fact that he still loves Gomez, so is this new throwback photo a sign from him to try to tell her not to give up hope on them just yet?
