According to a new tabloid report, Ryan Gosling may be single, following a rumored breakup with Eva Mendes. Could the heartthrob be dating Rachel McAdams again?
For months now we've seen reports that Ryan and Eva have been having serious relationship trouble. And the latest edition of OK! is no different.
One source who spoke to the tabloid believes that Ryan and Eva are as good as over. In fact, Ryan is too much of a free spirit for Eva:
"The passion is over...Ryan's independent and marches to his own drummer. He doesn't like to check in, and that frustrated Eva."
This isn't the first report we've seen to suggest that a breakup is evident. In fact, the two haven't been photographed together in over six months, AND Eva wasn't there to support her husband when his new film tanked at Cannes, as People reports:
"While Ryan Gosling promotes his directorial debut, Lost River, at the Cannes Film Festival this week, one person has been conspicuously absent: his girlfriend of three years, Eva Mendes - who happens to costar in the film... Meanwhile, Mendes, 40, has been keeping a low-profile, and the pair haven't been photographed together since last November."
Of course, this isn't the first time we've seen rumors that Eva and Ryan were going to call it quits. A recent article in OK! suggests that two are going to call it quits, because Ryan hasn't proposed yet:
"For the past 18 months, they've been talking about taking the next step, to the point that on every vacation, Eva's been convinced he would be popping the question. The trip to Iceland in September was the last straw. She pretty much gave him an ultimatum, but he balked and she stormed out and flew back to the States without him."
