If Twitter feet star Shailene Woodley is ever going to start dating her Divergent boyfriend Theo James, now is the time to make her move. Regardless of relentless rumors to the contrary, Theo is still together with his long-time girlfriend Ruth Kearney, who he met while in school. On top of that, Shai will soon have blonde bombshells Suki Waterhouse and Naomi Watts contending for the boys' attention as well. Both ladies are reportedly appearing in next franchise installment Insurgent. According to the latest cast update Watts will also be playing Factionless leader Evelyn in Allegiant sequels as well. Of course, if Shai just can't make things happen with James there is always her Fault of Our Stars love-interest Ansel Elgort to focus in on.
Apparently Divergent's box-office success seems to translate into more money and consequently more sex-appeal for the sequel Insurgent; so Suki Waterhouse, Octavia Spencer and Naomi Watts have been added to a cast that already features stunning beauties Shailene Woodley and Kate Winslet.
According to The Wrap, Naomi has all but inked the deal that will add her to Robert Schwentke inspired lineup:
"Naomi Watts is in final negotiations to join Shailene Woodley in Lionsgate's Divergent sequels
"Watts is nearing a deal to play Evelyn, leader of the Factionless, in Robert Schwentke's Insurgent, as well as both Allegiant sequels."
However Shai gets along with her new cast mates, it's doubtful that they will developed the same closeness that Woodley and her Fault of Our Stars mother Laura Dern have.
Dern told Today that she was happy to have the little Buddha crashing on her couch for as long as was possible:
"She's there as much as she wants to be. My children love her so much, and they're (all) like family now.
"We love each other-- I mean this whole cast...We love each other so much, we had dinner every night, and we've become such a family.
"But Shai and I are very, very close. We felt really connected.
"People are like, 'Oh, are you very maternal towards her?' I said, 'No. She's my mom, guiding me through my day."
So they are all eating clay in the Dern household or what?
