The Cincinnati Pops Orchestra has quite the selections planned for the 2016-17 season. The schedule includes performances with some of Broadway’s finest like Kristin Chenoweth ('Wicked,' 'You’re A Good Man Charlie Brown') and Sutton Foster ('Thoroughly Modern Millie,' 'Anything Goes,' 'Shrek the Musical'). That is not all, music all-stars like Aretha Franklin, Smokey Robinson, Melissa Etheridge, Smokey Robinson, Ben Folds, Sara Evans and many more will be performing with the famed Orchestra.

Utah Symphony Music Director Thierry Fischer has big plans for the 2016-17 Season. According to the Swiss conductor the Symphony will be shifting its focus back to their world class orchestra in celebration of its 75th anniversary season. For those that can't wait for next year, flutist Emmanuel Pahud will be performing Francois Borne's 19th century arrangement of Bizet's Carmen Fantasy and Marc-André Dalbavie's Flute Concerto with the orchestra this weekend.
The Cincinnati Symphony Orchestra (CSO) might be going through a $3 million renovation, but that doesn't mean that Louis Langrée plans to take the year off. According to the lates news update, the 55-year-old French conductor has reached out to a who's who of today's most popular classical artist in order to keep excitement for the venue alive during its transformation. Langrée recently announced that he was able to talk Yo-Yo Ma, Lang Lang and Itzhak Perlman all into dropping by for the 2016-17 season.
