‘GMA’ Michael Strahan Girlfriend Nicole Murphy Engagement Split; Katie Couric Too Drunk to Conduct Interview? [VIDEO UPDATE]

Despite having just recently ended their wedding engagement, Good Morning America cohost Michael Strahan and his former fiancé/girlfriend, Nicole Murphy, seem to still be friends. Just a week after the Live with Kelly and Michael! star's rep comfirmed that the former footballer and Eddie Murphy's one-time wife had split, Nicole insists they will always love each other. Early morning talk show peer, Katie Couric, probably won't be so quick to forgive Pat O'Brien, however. According to the latest gossip news updates, the former Insider host's new tell-all about his struggle with addiction entitled, I'll Be Back Right After This, claims that Katie Couric was so drunk during one interview together that the footage was unusable.

Things might be all over between Good Morning America's Michael Strahan and his would-have-been bride, Nicole Murphy, but at least they aren't angry or bitter about it.

During a recent street chat with a TMZ reporter/camera man, Murphy insisted that things were "all good", reports the gossip website:

"Nicole was grabbing lunch in L.A. after a workout when she claimed, 'It's all good'...between her and Strahan."

Word has it that things are so peachy keen between Katie Couric and Pat O'Brien thanks to his memoir that seemingly bad mouths everyone he has ever worked with or met.

According to the In Touch Weekly's coverage in their August 18 issue, O'Brien goes for broke when it comes to throwing shade to sell:

"Pat claims he did an interview with Katie Couric at Donald Trump's 2005 wedding that never aired because she was so drunk.

"He recalls how Angelina Jolie, pre-Brad Pitt, once joked that she was so horny she needed to find a man to hook up with.

"He also blasts ex-colleagues Nancy O'Dell (for being stupid) and Mary Hart (for being cold)."

An supposed insider, who spoke with the publication, made the rather obvious prediction that most of the parties involved would be none too pleased with Patty's little book:

"Katie will be furious and Angie won't be happy either...[but] it's a pretty juicy book.

"He saw it all."

Pretty soon O'Brien is sure to see a few cease and desist letters, as well.
