Despite all the reports that surfaced a few months back that American Idol, Carrie Underwood, and her Nashville Predator husband, Mike Fisher, were near divorce due to the country music singers' refusal to get pregnant, the couple seem as happy as ever. The ever-cheerful east coast couple looked nowhere near splitting up while taking the ALS ice bucket challenge this week. And why shouldn't Mike be more than happy with his super-successful wife. According to the latest gossip news updates, not only is she performing the new Sunday Night Football opener, Carrie is practically a shoo in to be given top billing at 2015 Super Bowl half-time show.
It would probably didn't come as a surprise to Carrie Underwood's fans when she accepted the ALS ice bucket challenge with husband Mike Fisher last week, but the use of a bulldozer to drench the pair may have caught a YouTuber or two off guard.
Never one to take the easy way out--big Mike Fisher shouted, "bring it down," before the bulldozer dropped an avalanche of water on the couple tight fitting white tees.
According to Rolling Stone that isn't the only video that Carrie has recently had the pleasure of staring in.
The music centric publication claims that Underwood will be preforming the NFL Sunday Night Football pre-game opener all by herself this year--sort of:
"When Sunday Night Football returns to NBC next month, country superstar Carrie Underwood will be joined by 11 NFL players for "Waiting All Day for Sunday Night," the opening theme to the highly rated primetime program."
That isn't the only thing she'll likely be performing for the NFL this season, either, reports TerezOwens:
"We're being told this year's performer already has serious ties to the National Football League.
"A few inside sources revealed to us that Carrie Underwood most likely will be doing the super bowl halftime show this year."
It looks like Mike really made the right choice in staying by Carrie's side as she repeatedly puts career over family year-after-year.
