Just like pig and elephant DNA just don't splice reality dating shows mixed with politics are often a pretty hard sell, but it seems that ABC's latest Bachelor Chris Soules may be trying to do just that on his Season 19 of the network dating show. According to contestant Lesley Murphy, at one point in Iowa it seemed as though the millionaire farmer was practically endorsing Rick Perry for President in 2016. According to the latest reality gossip news updates, former Bachelorette Ashley Herbert and her husband JP Rosenbaum recently welcomed their first baby boy, Fordham, into the world September 30. The proud parents say that loving their new bundle of joy is the most natural thing they have ever done.
It really doesn't seem like mixing ABC's Bachelor with national politics is a good idea for the future of the franchise or politics, but word has it that Chris Soules seems hell bound and determined to interject his political views as aggressively as the producers will allow.
Season 19 contestant, Lesley Murphy, told WetPaint that it wasn't too difficult to figure out what side of the fence Chris was on once they started dropping in on Presidential candidates while filming the show:
"It's usually very unbiased--it's not left wing or right wing.
"When they throw Texas Governor Rick Perry in there, though, that's pretty much swinging hard right.
"It's hard to mix reality show and politics and come out successful."
Meanwhile, former Bachelorette Ashley Hebert and her winner/husband JP Rosenbaum have just welcomed the own little future presidential hopeful into the world.
During their recent interview in Us Weekly's October 20, issue, Ashley said that if anything they were having an issue with almost loving their little baby boy too much:
"We feel overwhelmed with love for this little guy.
"There's nothing we love more than taking care of him and showering him with love--even if it's 3 a.m.
"Fordham is a sweet, hungry and sleepy baby so far...He's made it easy on us."
You could almost convince yourself they were going to be decent parents...if they hadn't already saddled that ppor child with such an awful name.
