Apparently Monty Python legend John Cleese didn't get the memo that "Shake It Off" singer, Taylor Swift, isn't to be messed with ever, for any reason. The foolish British comedian went so far as to make fun of the love of the Instagram bikini feet model's life--her cats. Taye-Taye doesn't have a new boyfriend just yet, but according to the latest gossip news updates, her latest single "Out of the Woods'" lyrics are about a failed former relationship with a mystery man not yet identified. The country music vixen explained that during that time she didn't know if they were going to split from one day to the next.
It would seem that comedy icon John Cleese foolishly has no fear of Taylor Swift or her song craft, as the Monty Python legend started to make fun of her pet cats during a recent chat on Graham Norton's talk show.
After being shown a picture of one of Taylor's little bundles of joy, Cleese asked what was wrong with it before taking the feline down a peg or two (via Gawker):
"Is that a proper cat? Is it damaged irreparably?
"It's the weirdest cat I've ever seen in my life."
Cleese had better watch himself or he may very well become fodder for Swift's next pop song the way that one boyfriend who inspired "Out of the Woods" on Taylors latest album '1989' has.
During a recent interview with ABC News, the 24-year-old country music multimillionaire explained that her latest single explored the feelings of doubt and abandonment brought on by a failed relationship in her past:
"This was a relationship where I was kind of, living day to day, wondering where it was going, if it was going to go anywhere, if it was going to end the next day.
"It was a relationship where you, kind of, never feel like you're standing on solid ground."
This time next year, Swift will be explaining how her latest hit is about putting yourself out there on a British talk show just to have some silly old codger take the piss out of you for no reason.
