Mariah Carey may still be holding on by a thread in light of her split with husband, Nick Cannon, but the America's Got Talent host seems to be moving right along with his life. According to the latest gossip news updates, Nick is set to add the new NBC remake of the TV show Lifestyles of the Rich and Famous to his IMDB hosting credits. While his soon-to-be Instagram lingerie model ex-wife is having to slash ticket prices for some of the concerts on her latest Elusive Chanteuse tour. Word has it the Wild n' Out star isn't dating Amber Rose despite reports they have been getting close since Rose announced she is getting divorced from her hip-hop husband, Whiz Kalifa. Instead, Amber was said to be seeing Keeping Up with the Kardashians' boyfriend French Montana, but it is now reported it was really his brother, Zack Kharbouch, that the buxom blonde was seen making out with--not Khloe's ex.
Since he dropped his aging wife, Mariah Carey, like an over-mature savings bond, Nick Cannon's fortunes have practically been improving daily.
In addition to his other hosting duties on shows like America's Got Talent and Wild n' Out, The Hollywood Reporter broke the story that Nick is going to be taking over Robin Leach's old TV gig:
"NBC is reviving Lifestyles of the Rich and Famous.
"America's Got Talent host Nick Cannon is attached to serve [as host] on NBC's revival."
A source told Us Weekly way back in August that Nick Canon was already earning money faster than he could spend it when he first announced the split over the summer (via CeleBitchy):
"Everyone told Mariah she was crazy to marry a younger guy but he is working, like, 12 gigs now and is worth close to $70 million."
According to the Daily Mail, while Nick has been out negotiating contracts with the NBC network, Mariah has been slashing ticket prices to get fans to come to her shows.
In related news, Mariah can, at least, rest easy knowing that Cannon hasn't completely replaced her just yet.
Despite all the speculation that Nick was already getting hot and heavy with Amber Rose, Hollywood Take reports that the short-haired sex-symbol is dating French Montana's brother, Zack Kharbouch, who presumably looks like his famous sibling:
"Some speculated that Amber Rose was dating French Montana when the two hung out at Knott's Berry Farm last week.
"But...Rose was actually kissing Zach Kharbouch instead."
Now...who said Mariah Carey can't catch a break?
