Freedom Fighter Neil Young and Street Wear 'Supreme' Team Up for New Marketing Campaign

It seems that Joni Mitchell isn't the only one having a fashion moment. As of late, freedom fighter Neil Young has teamed up with street wear superstars Supreme as part of a new marketing campaign.

This wouldn't be the first time the urban label has teamed up with old time rockers. The company before has also partnered with Lou Reed and Shane MacGowan. Besides Mitchell for Saint Laurent, other unusual pairings include labels like Céline collaborating with author Joan Didion.

Hopefully some of the new generation will be able to identify Neil Young — as prior events tell, most don't even know who hip-hop diva Missy Elliott or former Beatle Sir Paul McCartney are.

The label has released some images of Neil Young clad in his classic wide-brimmed hat and very basic Supreme-branded t-shirt. Along with the image, a picture of Young's famous countenance also is emblazoned on a basic white T-shirt.

Supreme was founded in New York in 1994 and is best known for their skateboarding and street attire. They have collaborated with the likes of Odd Future's Tyler The Creator in the past.

So while Young may be on a horse with no name, he's certainly taken on a brand as his latest endeavor.

And, of course, we support it.

In the meantime, check him out below.
