Marvel Studio Chris Evans, Pratt Raise Thousands for Seattle Children's Hospital With Super Bowl Bet

Marvel Studios has been hitting it out of the park each year with its annual super hero movies. Fans cough up their hard earned cash regardless if it's The Avengers, Captain America or Guardian's of the Galaxy. In turn, these movie stars have elevated to the upper echelon of Hollywood A-list stardom. Chris Pratt and Chris Evans are no exception to the rule. In recent news, the duo held up to their bargains on a Super Bowl bet resulting in $27K for a Children's Hospital in Seattle.

Before his time as a Superhero, Chris Pratt was everyone's favorite meathead on Parks and Recreation. Going even further back, he was a simple high school wrestling star.

Chris Evans, on the other hand, doesn't seem to have any ties to sports other than an interest and a recent bet at the Super Bowl.

True, Evans has made himself a household name, and according to TMZ Sports, Evans, along with Pratt, are both becoming known for more than their performances on screen:

"When Captain America makes a promise...he always follows through...especially when it involves a deal he made with Chris Pratt over the Super Bowl...As you may recall...Pratt, a Seahawks fan, lost a bet to Chris Evans over the big game last month and visited a children's hospital dressed as Star-Lord from Guardians of the Galaxy. Afterward, Evans agreed to the do the same, as Cap. The 33 year-old hunk visited Seattle Children's Hospital Saturday in his Captain America costume..."

It's always soothing to the heart to see those who have so much help out those in need.

According to Sports Illustrated, the people of Boston and Seattle more than benefited from their Super Bowl bet:

"Chris Pratt's and Chris Evans's Super Bowl wager seems to be the gift that keeps on giving for children's charities in Seattle and Boston...the wager led to $27,000 in donations being made...A total of $12,000 went to Christopher's Haven in Boston...Pratt, who grew up in Lake Stevens, Wash., supported the Seahawks and the Seattle Children's Hospital, which raised $15,000 during the 'Twitter Bowl 2015' campaign begun by the bet."
