Jay Z’s new album Magna Carta Holy Grail will air on HBO Friday. Well, at least one song will be making an appearance...a rather long one. The special is called Picasso Baby: A Performance Art Film. We’ve got you covered on updates and check out the vid below for a special preview.
You can catch the HBO special for yourself at 11:00 p.m. on Friday. It will be following Real Time with Bill Maher, which Jay Z will also be appearing on.
The film chronicles a performance Jay Z gave back in July of this year. The world famous rapper appeared at Pace Gallery in New York, where he gave a six hour performance.
What did he do, perform Holy Carta Magna Grail six times in a row? Nope. He performed one song--”Picasso Baby”-- for six hours straight.
The crowd in attendance went nuts for his performance, but will that translate on TV? Check out some of the best lyrics in his rap, below.
