Tonight, AMC’s Revolutionary War spy drama, Turn: Washington’s Spies is all new with the penultimate episode of Season 2. With the season coming to a close, we are reflecting on some of the most devastating moments so far. Mainly Caleb Brewster (Daniel Henshall) losing his beard and Major John Andre (JJ Feild) losing half of his blonde braid.
The official plot synopsis for tonight’s all new episode of Turn: Washington’s Spies, titled “The Prodigal,” reads:
“Abe returns from prison with critical intel; tensions rise between Hewlett and Simcoe; Arnold rescues Peggy from a rebel mob.”

So far this season we seen a lot of loss. No, we don’t mean death, we are talking other kinds of loss. Like when Major Hewlett (Burn Gorman) lost his toes to frostbite or when General Washington (Ian Kahn) lost his teeth and his mind in Valley Forge.
