Despite the fact that it looks like Bravo fired Claudia Jordan from the Real Housewives of Atlanta after Glee queen bee, NeNe Leakes, demanded a few Season 7 regulars be purged, there may be more to the story. According to the latest gossip news updates, reunion referee and reality TV show producer, Andy Cohen, claims that that really isn't how the Real Housewives casting process works. For her part, the Dish Nation DJ explained that her firing had far more to do with her own storyline not really having enough room to develop than any feuds she may or may not have started with the fans' longtime favorite.
Before the Season 7 reunion of The Real Housewives of Atlanta ever aired, NeNe Leakes was making all sorts of comments about Bravo having to get rid of some of the "hungriest" cast members, who she described to Us Weekly, as "willing to do anything," to get attention on the series.
So, when it was announced earlier this week that Claudia Jordan -- NeNe's Season 7 nemesis -- had been let go after just one year on the show, many Housewives fans assumed that it was clearly at Leakes' behind-the-scenes behest.
Bravo bigwig and Housewives staple, Andy Cohen, is letting his followers know on Twitter, however, that the producers don't ever fire any of the cast mates simply because one of their costars told them to do so:

In addition to Cohen's clearing the air, Claudia also took to Facebook to explain that if her beef with NeNe did anything, it brought her into the mix too late into the season to properly set her up her backstory (via Inquisitr):
"Keep in mind I wasn't ALLOWED to have a story line for most of filming.
"I started as Kenya's friend-then more than half way thru they gave me a peach so there was no filming time left to get my full story...simple math."
To make matters even worse for Claudia, not only is she having to explain to people exactly why she thinks she was fired from the best job she ever had, TMZ reports that a couple of days ago Jordan was sent to the hospital after being involved in a high speed car crash:
"Jordan and her friend were driving on Interstate 20 when 2 cars in front of them wrecked -- they hit the brakes...and then got rear-ended by 2 cars.
"When the dominoes stopped...a total of 6 cars were involved."
As of yet, no one on Twitter has accused NeNe Leakes of having anything to do with the accident, but it's probably just a matter a time.
