Real Housewives of Atlanta fans are going to missing out now that NeNe Leaks has quit the series. However, NeNe hasn’t ruled out joining the cast of another show in the franchise, like Real Housewives of Beverly Hills. NeNe recently opened up about the possibility of mixing it up with RHOBH girls, as well why she left RHOA, despite the massive net worth gain she was offered.
Recently, NeNe Leakes opened up to Access Hollywood about why she decided to leave RHOA (via Inquisitor):
“Well, you know, I was the only original there, and it was the end of my contract and Bravo knew that and I knew that. I was offered season eight, to come back, and it was my decision. I just wanted to do other things. Also, I felt like being on the show all of this time, I felt like I was being attacked a lot. I felt like it was very negative at times. And it was just time for me to sort of step back and just try other things…I just need a break, and this was my time to take a break and go do other things. I may go back sometime.”
NeNe was also asked about if she would consider joining the cast of The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills, adding:
“Me being in a different division? Yeah. Oh, I would love to join the Beverly hills housewives. I would be the only brown girl there.… I would love to join The Beverly Hills Housewives to fight those girls a little bit. They need a brown girl. I promise. I’d love to do it.”
NeNe made it clear that it wasn’t money that made her quit the series in the first place, saying:
“It’s not about money for me, it’s about happiness for me.”
