Now that Kourtney Kardashian's mom, Kris Jenner, seems to have gotten the message that her daughter is never getting back together with her ex-boyfriend, Scott Disick, the Keeping Up with the Kardashians momager is apparently ready to audition a few new beaus for the reality TV show. According to the latest gossip news updates, the 2015 season will see Lord Disick's ex dating everyone from Dancing with the Stars' Val Chmerkovskiy to the Bachelor's Nick Viall in an attempt to boost the series' sagging ratings. Meanwhile, Kourtney's reality TV ex-husband has let his subjects know via Instagram that he is ready for the hoi polloi to stop talking about him.
It seemed that Kris Jenner was one of the last people to get the memo that Kourtney Kardashian and Scott Disck really have broken up for good -- telling Access Hollywood earlier in the month that she thought they couple would soon get back together.
The family insider that Radar Online spoke to claims that Kourtney really let her mom have it after she found out that Kris was making those kind of statements in public (via Life&Style):
"The fact that Kris even said anything at all really pissed Kourtney off.
"After Kourtney tore into Kris and told her to shut the f-ck up and not ever mention the two of them in an interview ever again, Kris apologized to her and said that she was 'extremely sorry' and should have 'never said anything to begin with.'"
Once Kris came to terms with the reality of the situation, it's said that the crafty TV maven started looking to set her daughter up with someone new.
One source in the latest October 5, issue of Star magazine claims that Kris has a plan to potentially bring in Val Chmerkovskiy as crossover guest star/potential suitor:
"On the show it will look like Kourtney is online dating and going on blind dates in the hope of meeting Mr. Right; but in reality Kris is handpicking guys that will bring spark, excitement and drama to the show.
"[Val Chmerkovskiy] is someone Kourtney could definitely get excited about. He could charm the pants of the audience too."
While the new Keeping Up with the Kardashians teaser has everyone talking about Scott Disick's bad behavior over the summer, the self-proclaimed TV Lord doesn't seem to appreciate the uptick in attention.
The 33-year-old father of three posted a past shot from the show to Instagram captioned with a demand for silence from the nonessentials:
