The official Lucky for Life lottery website is reporting on a few lucky winners from MA, including one from last month:
“Jacqueline Letourneau of Wareham, MA is the winner of a $25,000 a year for life prize in the multi-state ‘Lucky for Life’ game after correctly matching the first five numbers selected in the drawing that took place Thursday, May 21.
“Letourneau, who claimed her prize at the Massachusetts State Lottery’s Braintree headquarters on Thursday, October 22, opted to receive a one-time payment of $390,000 (before taxes). She plans to use her winnings to buy a car, help her family and make a special charitable donation.”
The website is also reporting on another big winner:
"More than likely Walter Jekot and Caesar Rositto are two CT Lottery players who have never met before, but still have something very much in common—within days of one another, each has claimed a Lucky for Life draw game second prize worth $25,000 a year, every year, for life.
"Jekot arrived at CT Lottery headquarters to claim his “lifetime” prize for the October 19th drawing. The winning Lucky for Life numbers drawn for that date were 12 – 16 – 19 – 29 – 42 and Lucky Ball 4. Days earlier, Rositto claimed his prize winning ticket for the Lucky for Life October 12th drawing. The winning Lucky for Life numbers drawn for that date were 4 – 7 – 37 – 43 – 48 and Lucky Ball 5. To win Lucky’s second highest prize, both Jekot and Rositto each matched the first five numbers drawn, but missed the Lucky Ball number."
