Warner Offering Full Refund for Glitchy 'Batman: Arkham Knight'

While the console version of Batman: Arkham Knight was nominated for multiple awards, the PC version is so glitchy Warner is offering a full refund for the game.

And if you have any experience with trying to get a refund on Steam (where many players got the game), you know how big of a deal this is. Despite the console versions of Batman: Arkham Knight being quite enjoyable and well-done, the PC port, for lack of a more descriptive term, sucked hard. Seriously, game breaking glitches, including start-up fails, shutdowns, and bugs, have plagued the PC version since its first launch. Warner later put the game back on Steam, and as far as I can tell didn't fix anything. Here's what Warner Bros. had to say on the matter.

"We are very sorry that many of our customers continue to be unhappy with the PC version of Batman: Arkham Knight. We worked hard to get the game to live up to the standard you deserve but understand that many of you are still experiencing issues.

Until the end of 2015, we will be offering a full refund on Batman: Arkham Knight PC, regardless of how long you have played the product. You can also return the Season Pass along with the main game (but not separately). For those of you that hold onto the game, we are going to continue to address the issues that we can fix and talk to you about the issues that we cannot fix."

That's great! So, if you realize how bad the game is, get the refund. That way you can spend money on something worthwhile (I'm voting Fallout 4). Of course if you decide to stick with the company and hope they fix the problems, read that last clause again.

Yeah, they don't even claim they can fix all of the problems that are in the game. If that isn't a warning light as big as the Eiffel Tower, I don't know what is.

And this is just sloppy on Warner's part, because "a dive into the code revealed it was the same glitchy version of the game from a patch released in September." They've had time to fix it, and did nothing. Shame on them.

So what do you think of this debacle? If you bought the PC version of Batman: Arkham Knight, will you keep it and hope for patches or get the refund?
