Although they are not even officially a couple, word has it that Tom Cruise has finally come around to the idea of his former friend Jamie Foxx dating his ex-wife, Katie Holmes. According to the gossip news updates, the happy couple are ready to announce that they have gotten engaged, now that their relationship has gotten the thumbs up from the renowned Scientologist.
While some folks have been claiming that Katie Holmes has been wearing a engagement ring for months, the Dawson's Creek beauty has maintained that she is still single -- until now.
One source in the latest January 18, issue of OK! Magazine revealed that Katie and Jamie Foxx have just been waiting to get Tom Cruise's okay before moving forward, and now that they have it, they are ready to tell the world that they want to spend the rest of their lives together:
"As much as Katie guards her privacy, it's been the one thing holding them back.
"It irritated him (Tom) that Jamie didn't ask him first.
"Once Katie assured him that the relationship was serious and that Jamie had bonded with Suri, Tom came around and gave them his blessings."
