‘Disaster’ Max Crumb & Laura Osnes Talks ‘You’re the One That I Want’ Before ‘Grease Live'

Some people are born to fly. Others are born to become poets. Some are just born to hand jive. Take Max Crumb (Disaster) and Laura Osnes (Pride & Prejudice) for example. The duo won the roles Danny and Sandy, respectively, on the NBC reality series Grease: You’re the One That I Want. Now the summer lovers are getting back together to discuss Fox’s new liver version of the iconic Broadway musical.

Recently, Laura Osnes gathered around the lunch table and told Playbill and the Pink Ladies all about her time on You’re the One That I Want, saying:

"It was absolutely life-changing. It was the opening of a door and the golden ticket to my dream come true. Was it hard work? Absolutely. Was it stressful? Absolutely. Did it come with all of these other things that I didn't expect [it to come with]? Absolutely. But… was it a dream come true? Yeah, it really was."

Tell me more. Tell me more.

Max Crumm hit more than just falsetto at the end of “Summer Nights,” he also skyrocketed to fame on the Broadway stage. Crumm, who is currently cast in Seth Rudetsky’s Disaster!, opened up about how Grease changed his life.

"I love theatre and acting so much. I've wanted to do it since I was a little kid, like five or six. "It was the opening of a door, and we just ran through it because we were ready for anything."

Fox’s Grease Live airs this Sunday, Jan 31 on Fox. Julianne Hough Stars as Sandy and Aaron Tveit stars as Danny.
