The Nielsen rating are in for Fox’s Grease Live musical event. Regardless of how many people tuned in Sunday night, some of theater and dance industry’s best have given their seal of approval to the newest version of the classic music. Broadway favorite Neil Patrick Harris (Assassins, Hedwig & The Angry Inch) and 13-year-old dancing superstar, Maddie Ziegler (Dance Moms), both sing the praises for Grease under the @GoGrease Twitter tag.

Fox’s Grease didn’t beat NBC’s super smash hit production of The Sound of Music Live but it did hold its own for a with a very impressive 12.2 million viewers. That means that Grease Live beat both Peter Pan Live and The Wiz Live.
