‘Wicked’ Lindsay Mendez & ‘Color Purple’ LaChanze Join Norm Lewis for Inspirational Broadway

Lindsay Mendez (Wicked, Godspell, Grease) and LaChanze (The Color Purple) are joining Norm Lewis (Phantom of the Opera), Adam Pascal (RENT, Aida) and a wealth of other talent for the Inspirational Broadway. The special one night only all star benefit takes place next monday at the B.B. King Blues Club & Grill.

Lindsay Mendez was recently seen on Broadway in the lead role of Elphaba in the highly acclaimed musical Wicked.

LaChanze won the 2006 Best Actress in a Musical Tony Award for her role in The Color Purple and an Emmy Award for Handel's Messiah Rocks in 2010.

Next Monday,February 8, LaChanze and Lindsay Mendez will be joining Norm Lewis and The Broadway Inspirational Choir for a special one only concert. The event will also feature, Renee Elise Goldsberry (Hamilton), Michael McElroy, Billy Porter (Kinky Boots), Adam Pascal (Rent, Disaster), Joshua Henry (Violet), Telly Leung (Allegiance),Chad Kimball (Memphis), Eden Espinosa (Wicked), Marcus Paul James (Motown) and Jarrod Spector (Beautiful).
